The custom skin allows the users to add widgets to the home screen and also adjust the size similar to iOS 15 on iPhones. Xiaomi has also introduced MIUI 13 Pad, MIUI Watch, MIUI Home, and MIUI TV. Currently, the company has rolled out MIUI 13 beta on 32 Xiaomi and Redmi devices in China. The global rollout is expected to release in Q1 of 2022.
Xiaomi to Release Global Version of MIUI 13 in 2022
The CEO and co-founder, Lei Jun, revealed that MIUI 13 will have improved privacy features and enhanced security. The beta version of MIUI 13 is compatible with Mi, Mi 4, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 11 Lite 5g, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40. A stable version of MIUI 13 will be available to these smartphones in January. MIUI 13 is enhancing self-developed Focused Algorithms, Atomized Memory, and Liquid Storage that improves the performance of the apps. It also improves the overall lifespan of the devices. The first batch of MIUI 13 is available on recently launched Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and the Xiaomi 12X. It also includes Xiaomi 11 Ultra, the Xiaomi 11 Pro, and the Xiaomi 11. As of now, there are now details on the second and third batches of MIUI 13. The company will release the details soon. The first batch of MIUI 13 will be available to global users starting Q1, 2022. MIUI 13 Pad will be released for Mi Pad 5 Pro and Mi Pad 5. And the stable version of MIUI Watch is already reached Xiaomi Watch Color 2 and Watch S1.
